homemade guacamole

My husband loves chips and guacamole, one day we were in line at our local grocery store, waiting for the guacamole lady to take our order, well she was nowhere in sight, we waited a few mins and still no sign of her. We were pretty hungry and decided that I should just try and make our own, we don’t need the guac lady, I could be the guac lady, so that’s how my homemade guacamole was born. Its really not rocket science, and it takes like 10 mins to prep!

here’s my really simple recipe

1 avocado

1 onion

1 tomato

1 jalapeno

1/2 lime (juiced)

cumin

garlic powder

cayenne pepper

chop all the produce really fine, the finer the better

put everything in a bowl, squeeze the lime onto the mix, and add spices

now the fun part, grab you the biggest fork you have and start mashing. I was lazy once and put it into the food processor, yeah not a good idea. Unfortunately it turns out better using good ole fashion manual labor. Enjoy with chips, or on tacos!
