I was inspired by a pizza joint called Ians, in Madison, Wi to create this amazing pizza! Who doesnt love pizza and pasta, right? This was a time consuming dinner, but it was well worth it, and we had lots of leftovers because its really filling. It was really fun to make, and can be a fun family activity!
A box of shaped pasta
8 oz bag of shredded mozz cheese
bacon
pizza sauce
1 box of pasta shapes (make ahead of time)
make the dough
1- .25 packet of dry yeast
1- teaspoon white sugar
1 cup of warm water
mix these items in the mixing bowl and let set for 10 minutes, or until creamy. I let it set for the whole 10 minutes. I’ve learned after a few times.
add these to the yeast mix
2.5 cups of flour
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
2.5 cups of flour
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
let dough sit covered for 5 mins
roll out dough onto floured surface
add sauce to the dough
then add cheese and proteins
and top off with your cooked pasta
bake in oven at 450 for about 18 mins or so, check now and then, make sure cheese is nice and melted and the noodles are a little brown, just a little!
enjoy!
