So this came about during the current pandemic, we were out of alfredo sauce and it’s much easier to make your own stuff than brave the stores these days. We have to get the masks and hand sanitizer out, id rather open the cupboards and figure it out myself, so here it is. I only have one photo because you have to move fast while you are making it, so there wasn’t time for photos.
1/4 cup butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic, crushed (i used a tablespoon of minced)
1 1/2 cups of grated parmesan cheese
melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
add cream and simmer for 5 mins, then add the garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through
serve right away or it gets really thick.
it looked like a queso so I was a little nervous about how it would taste, it was really good, we mixed it with red sauce, the perfect mix!
