Welcome to the newest section of the blog, called on the grill! We recently bought our first grill, and I can’t stop cooking outside now. I figured id share my grilling with you!

BBQ Chicken and veggie kabobs

My husband is a vegetarian and I’m the complete opposite, so we need to come up with ideas for the both of us on the grill. It’s pretty easy since I love all the proteins, and he loves all the veggies. He gets one half of the grill and I get the other, it’s like sharing a bed, haha!

4 chicken breasts ( i meal planned)

1 green pepper

1 yellow pepper

1 red pepper

1 onion

cumin

olive oil

cayenne pepper

bbq sauce

cut the veggies and put them on the skewers

glaze them with the olive oil seasoning mix, very generously

glaze the chicken breasts with the same mix

put them on the grill and cook the veggies for about 4 mins on each side rotate, you

want to get those nice grill marks and make sure they are tender

put the chicken on, grill both sides for 4 mins on medium heat on a gas grill, and then cook them for 5 mins on each side on high, or until 165 temp

glaze the breasts with the bbq sauce on one side on the last 5 min flip, only glazing one side of the chicken
